I wanted to take a minute to express our sincere appreciation for the way in which both David, Mike, and and entire staff at Life and Legacy handled our mom's funeral. From the first day we met through the service and arrangements for Mom's burial, we were treated kindly and with the upmost compassion. I also wanted to highly recommend the florist that Life and Legacy uses. The ring of flowers surrounding our mom's cremation box was absolutely stunning. From the first contact, David and Mike showed heartfelt compassion that put us at ease and made arrangements that filled all the needs of the family.

They both offered to shoulder many of the burdens we faced and made thoughtful recommendations to ease our pain and help us with the transition to a life without our friend, husband and father. They listened to us and responded professionally, competently and, most importantly, with great kindness.

I just want to say thank you David, Mike, and the team. No one wants to find themselves sitting at the funeral home making arrangements for their loved one when they depart so soon and unexpected from us. You guys have done great work in arrangements, recommendation, steps to take to make the whole burial process flawless and calm. You made our last memory of mama beautiful as we said our final good bye to her here on earth. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I just would like to tell everyone about Life and Legacy Funeral Home. They are welcoming and they made me feel like family. I lost my father on 05/28/2022 and it has been frustrating the least with dealing with a different funeral back home that did not guarantee that I could have my dad buried on June 11th because they did not know how the body would look. Life and Legacy allowed me to see my dad before they shipped him back to New York. Can I tell you how my dad looked amazing I was assured that my dad would be viewable on the day of his funeral? My dad looked peaceful and the right type of makeup was used so that we did not need the new funeral home in NY to touch him up. I was able to pick out an affordable casket and I got a great suit thanks to David. I just wanted t say thank you to David and Michael for being so sweet and making me and my cousin feel like family. They met all of our needs and that is all that matters. Money was not an option our needs were put first. For that, I am truly grateful. Much love. Julia Loney

I just want to say that I have never in my life experienced a funeral home with such loving and caring people as I have with Life and Legacy. From the very moment my family and I walked through the door until we walked away at the cemetery absolutely every detailed was taken care of. The phone calls we received from the owner David just to ask if we were okay was enough to overwhelm someone with gratitude, but I am simply amazed at the whole staff. Not one of them ever treated us as if we were strangers or just a number. My Grandfather's funeral was not an easy one because of issues he had during his sickness, however Mike made him look as though he was just resting. A face we had not seen on him in years! I would suggest that if you are searching for a funeral home because of a loss or looking to make your own arrangements that you seriously call this funeral home. I can assure you that you will not regret it one moment.

I simply do not know where to start. My family had not one iota of how to deal with planning a funeral or all of the steps required to bring it to fruition. David called my family and then came to our home just to sit with us and talk. I thought he was an employee but was floored when I found out he was actually the owner. How many owners take out time to deal with you one on one? Amazing. Then I got to sit in the funeral home and talk to little Ms. Ann and she shared so much love with us. She made sure we had plenty of water and didn't care how many times someone asked to find the restroom. But when we saw our loved one and saw the dramatic way Mike restored him we were brought to tears. All we could imagine was that we were going to be forced to have a closed casket because of the terrible way his disease had ravaged him. He was so beautiful and looked like he was so peaceful and simply laying there sleeping. I know this sounds so cliché, but this funeral home should be the one that everyone brings their loved ones to. They truly do treat you like family and they go above and beyond even when the money stops. I can't say enough good about these people! However I can tell you that as for me and my family, we will never darken the door of another funeral home except this one!

Thank you so much again for making dad's final day a memorable one. You all have truly been a blessing to me with mom and dad's arrangements and whenever I needed anything. You have a true calling in your profession and I imagine other families feel the same way as we do but honestly, you will always be a part of our family.

Words cannot express my gratitude for the way Life and Legacy handled my father's service. Dad was in terrible declining health when he passed yet when we saw his body we were amazed by the way he looked. Michael Jean was sent by God to help make our dad look the best he did. We were amazed at the peaceful way he looked. The service was the most impressive one I've ever been to let alone been a part of. They way the staff paid such close attention to detail and made certain every request we had was met. I recommend Life and Legacy should you ever need a funeral home, they are by far the best.

The entire staff did an amazing job with the service. I wasn't able to hold it together and they helped me create a unique service that was exactly what we wanted. It was a very hard thing for me to plan but with the help of their staff it was not stressful at all and they all stood by my side through it all. I highly recommend their service and I thank the entire staff for being there for our family.

We can’t thank you enough for all you did in handling the details for my brother’s unexpected funeral. At a time when we were stunned with grief, they came along side us and stood in the gap. I was here recently for a funeral, and I thought the staff was really impressive. My dad is a preacher, and that means I’ve been to more than my share of funerals. I found the staff to be very professional and appropriate, the space to be well-appointed, and the service to be both proper and comforting. I’m sure it’s a really thankless job, but I appreciate that you make things easy for grieving families.

I want to let everyone know that when our Mom died we were in the dark as to who to turn to and what to do. From the minute we walked in the door David Cook and the whole staff made us feel as though we were family from way back. There was never a moment when we walked through that door that David himself didn't greet us and hug our necks. During the services David and the staff stayed by me and my dad to make sure we wanted for nothing. They brought food in so the people gathering to say their farewells were taken care of. Everyone was so attentive and made sure everything was done with such a warm touch. This funeral home is unlike any of the others we have experienced and I can assure you that from this moment forward we will never go anywhere else by Life and Legacy.
