Zinoviy Dimitriyovich Koval

Zinoviy Koval, age 81, passed into the arms of his Savior peacefully on January 30, 2022 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Zinoviy was born on November 16, 1940 in Ukraine to Dimitriy and Maria (Yasinovska) Koval. He was married to Galyna Yagenich. Zinoviy was a Radio Engineer and worked for an electronic manufacturer in Ukraine.

Zinoviy was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was always in a happy mood. He loved to make people laugh and always had a joke ready to go. He loved fixing things, if it ran on electricity he could fix it. He loved his family especially his grandchildren.

Zinoviy was predeceased by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Galyna Koval, His son Yuriy Koval and his wife Lyuba, daughter Oxsana Sukhonos and husband Boris and his five grandchildren Paul, Timothy and Eliana Koval and Diana and Daniel Sukhonos.

A funeral service for Zinoviy will be held on Monday February 7th at 7:00 PM at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104.
