William Lee Eggerichs

William Lee Eggerichs, 71, of Indian Trail, loving husband, father, grandfather, and mentor too many went to be with our lord and savior Jesus Christ on December 29, 2020.  While we mourn his passing, we rejoice that he is no longer suffering and is with his son, mother, father, and sister in heaven.

William retired from Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems after 40 years.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, road trips, his hobbies, and watching the birds in the back yard with his loving wife Phyllis of 52 years.

His sister Lynn Eggerichs, his parents Ann and George Eggerichs, and his son Andrew Eggerichs preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory; his loving wife Phyllis Eggerichs; son Michael Eggerichs and wife Jennifer; daughter Heidi Helms and husband Jeff; granddaughter Jasmine Helms; and his grandsons Christopher Eggerichs, Jeff Helms Jr, and Caleb Eggerichs.

Funeral Service will be Monday, January 4, 2021 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC; with the Reverend Bruce Powell officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing are required.
