Virginia Ann (Guye) Hutson

Mrs. Virginia Ann Guye Hutson, 85, of Pageland, SC, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 in the White Oak Manor of Waxhaw. She was born to Harvey Lee and Mamie Nance Guye in Martinsville, Virgina.

Mrs. Hutson loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself. She was an all around great person with a real quirky sense of humor. She lived most of her adult life in Greensboro, NC where she worked in a textile mill. Mrs. Hutson loved the Lord with all her heart and would encourage others in Him. She enjoyed sewing the softest washcloths with terrycloth and making her family favorite cheese biscuits. Mrs Hutson loved music, especially George Strait; she would tap her foot and sing along to his songs.

Left to cherish her memory include: her sons Johnny Hutson and David Hutson and wife Posie; granddaughters Christin Cook and husband Bobby, Angela Plyler and husband Ronnie, Amie Merker and Serena Hutson; grandson Larry Hutson; great granddaughters Kirsten Carpenter, Autumn Cook and Mariah Pleasant; her sister Francis Kirk and husband James and her special nephew Perry Guye whom she loved as a son. She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Mamie Guye; siblings Barbara Walker, Wayne Guye and Pat Hill and her daughter Donna Fowler.

There will be a private memorial service at the home of Francis and James Kirk at a later date.
