Valerie Lee Strode, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2021. Lee was born on Tuesday, November 26, 1968 in Richmond, VA to John and Mary (Robinson) Strode, She worked as a Data Analyst at U S Bank in Charlotte.

Lee was a very loving and giving individual who had a zest for life. She was very aggressive about her health regimen and eating the proper foods. She loved good humor and spending time with the ones she loved.

Lee was predeceased by her mother Mary Strode. Left to cherish her memory are her husband David Counter, her father John "Tom" Strode, her sister Beth Clark, her brother J T Strode and his wife Sarah, her nieces and nephews Anna, Sam and Ben Strode, David Vaghari, Diane Toran, Mary Clark, Naomi, and Ben Jaggers, Lucy Allwood and a great niece and great nephew.

Services for Lee will be private and held at the convenience of her family.
