Terry G (Griffin) Bowers

Terry G Bowers, age 58, of Monroe, passed into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday October 5, 2021 at her home in Monroe while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Sunday, October 14, 1962 to Kenneth W and Rachel (Simpson) Griffin. Terry was married to Kenneth Bowers.

Terry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with all of them. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, loud and fast cars and her annual trip to the beach to Christmas shop with her sisters and daughters. She was also active with Hometown Heroes.

Terry was predeceased by her mom and dad. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Kenneth, her daughters Kristy Womack and her husband Zac, Amber Myers and her husband Jason, her son Kenny Bowers Jr, her sisters Kathy Wright and Kenda Griffin, her grandchildren Lexi, Jaden, Emma, Parker and Westyn and several niece's and nephews.

A celebration of Terry's life will begin with a visitation on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:20 PM at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel, 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079 followed a funeral service at 12:30 PM. Interment will take place at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Arrangements are by Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations.
