Tammy Annette (Starling) Cooper

    Tammy Annette Cooper went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday August 23, 2021. She had a great love for Jesus and her family. Tammy was compassionate, kind, generous, loving, well respected and loved by many. She had a servant’s heart made of gold and was a true light in this world. Tammy is survived by her loving family which include her husband, Gene Cooper, her two daughters, Courtney Shirlen and Mackenzie Jordan, and her son-in law whom she loved as her own, Justin Shirlen, her stepdaughters, Trena McNeely and her children and grandchildren Amanda, Josh, Amy and Keegan and Carla Wallace and her husband Jeff and their children Brandon and Mandon, her parents, Jack Starling and Betty Goins and her husband Michael, her sister Angie Hill and her husband Kyle and their children and grandchildren  Colton, EJ, Amanda, Easton, and Anderson, her brother Jeff Starling  and his wife Kelly, and their children Tyler,Triston and Trenton and sister Fyonna Ashley and her daughter Miriam. A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 2613 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110 on Saturday September 4th, 2021. The family will receive friends in the Family Life Center at 2:00 PM followed by a service at 3:00 PM to honor Tammy. A privatel farewell will be held at Lucy Helms Cemetery, Hillcrest Church Rd, Goose Creek Township, NC at the convenience of the family.
