Sarah (Aldridge) Laney

Sarah Laney went home to be with Jesus, Friday, July 29, 2022 in Matthews, NC. Sarah a native of Union county, NC was born on March 17, 1934. Sarah was a longtime resident of Stallings, NC.

Sarah was the daughter of the late Lonnie David Aldridge and Mattie Tadlock Aldridge. She was the wife of the lateAmon Leroy Laney. She is survived by six children; Mitchell Laney(Air Force- Retired) and his wife Robbie of Yorktown,VA, Marcia Regans and her husband Jack of Indian Trail, NC, Cindy Wooten and her husband Steve of Mineral Springs,NC, Kim Simpson and her husband Ronnie of Weddington, NC, Amy Williams and her husband Barry of Stanfield NC,Mike Laney (Air National Guard - Retired) and his wife Ashley of Indian Trail, NC; 15 Grandchildren; Chad Regans and wife Kristen, Jeff Laney and wife Cassie, Beth Regans, Sarah Crowder and husband Anthony, Lauren Ingle and husband David, Cynthia Carter and husband Chad, Jennifer Hornaday, Michelle Godsey and husband Chris, Ashley Laney, Zach Toth, Chris Simpson and wife Kim, Cody Williams, Jacob Laney, Micah Laney, Grace Laney; 17 Great Grandchildren; Kendra Crowder, Kali Crowder, Noah Laney, Laikyn Carter, Alyssa Laney, Slade Crowder, Willow Crowder, Ellie Regans, Jack Regans, Mason Carter, Eli Hornaday, Jenson Ingle, Luke Regans, Emery Hornaday, Laney Carter, Carsyn Ingle and Emerson Godsey; She was proceeded in death by her siblings; Martha Wesson, Cornelia Pickerel, Blair Aldridge, Curtis Aldridge, David Aldridge, Gene Aldridge and Talmadge Aldridge.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail 732 Indian Trail-Fairview Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079 beginning with a visitation at 10:30am followed by a service at 11:30am. A Graveside Service will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be Made in her memory to First Baptist Church of Indian Trail.
