Ronald Harry Brown

Ronald H Brown, age 80, of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday while in the care of Atrium Health Medical Center in Monroe. Ronald was born on Tuesday, June 23, 1942 in Elmira, NY to Harry and Helen (Spenser) Brown. Ron was married to Phyllis Hofmann.

Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family especially his grandchildren. He was a practical joker who liked to stay busy and working around the house. Ron worked as a jewelry buyer for a department store for 30 years, but ran his own painting contracting business for the last 20 years of work.

Ron was predeceased by his mother and father, his brothers Eddie and Ray Brown and his sister Margaret Maiben. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Phyllis, his son Derek and his wife Tara, his granddaughter Rigby Brown and his grandson Archer Brown.

Services for Ron are incomplete and will be announced by Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations, 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
