Reece "Edward" Alexander

Reece "Edward" Alexander, age 86 was born November 11, 1936 and passed away peacefully at his Locust, North Carolina home while under Hospice Care of Stanly County and surrounded by his loving family. 

"Ed" as he was affectionately known to everyone could only be described as a "man's man" who loved the outdoors. He loved boating and skiing. He loved to fish and be near the water and being out on boats. He loved tinkering with golf carts. But his most favorite thing to do was traveling to places he had never been before. He loved his family and adored all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Just having them around him you could see his face light up. 

Ed is proceeded in death by his parents, Chatham and Kathleen Alexander, his wife, Cornelia Hartsell-Alexander, his brother, Jerry Alexander and two grandchildren, McKenzie and Jackson. Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Teresa Ann Lefler, husband Tony and their children, Clay Tony III Lefler, wife Evamarie and Katie Lefler. Timothy Edward Alexander, wife Leanne with their children and grandchildren, Dwayne Alexander, wife Gladys and children, Shiloh and Eden. Chris Alexander, wife Bobbi and children, Coleman and Reagan. Kendall Alexander, wife Monica and children, Mason and Jordan. Matthew Alexander, wife Trina and children, Priya, Dietrich and Sybil. Nic Alexander, wife Brandie and children, Trinity, Jackson and Logan. Philip Alexander. Rickie D. Alexander, wife Kim and children, Kevin Alexander and wife Courtney with their children, Brent and Olivia. Krystal Simpson, husband Evan with their children, Derrick, Kaylee and Rollin.

Services for Ed will be held May 20, 2023 at Sardis Baptist Church located at 3602 Unionville-Indian Trail Rd W. Indian Trail, NC 28079. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm-2:00pm and Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm with graveside reflections to be held in the church cemetery immediately following funeral services. 

Life and Legacy is humbled to have been chosen to serve the Alexander Family during this most difficult time.
