Obituary
Rafik Skakaramova, age 88, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2023 while under the care of Atrium Hospital Cabarrus in Concord, NC surrounded by those he loved dearly. Rafik was born on Tuesday February 26, 1935, in Azerbaijan to Levon and Anna (Tunyan) Skakaramova. He was married to Klara (Petrosova) Skakaramova.
Rafik was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, playing chess, barbecue, camping, traveling and especially his family.
Rafik was predeceased by his parents two sisters and a brother. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Klara Skakaramova, his daughter Narine Skakaramova and her husband Alexander, his daughter Naira Kasparov and her husband Aram, his daughter Nonna Skakaramova, seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life for Rafik will be held on Sunday June 11, 2023 beginning with a funeral service at Father's House Church, 2200 Coronation Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28227 at 5:00 PM. A graveside service will take place on Monday at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28205.
