Patricia Ann (Klar) Petho

Patricia Ann Petho, age 88, of Matthews, NC, passed away peacefully on Tuedsay, March 26, 2024 while in the care of Novant Medical Center of Matthews surrounded by those that she loved. Patricia was born in Cleveland, OH on Sunday February 2, 1936, to Alex and Helen (Kuharik) Klar. She was married to the late Donald A Petho, who passed in 2000 for 45 years.

Patricia was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother who loved her family, especially her grand children. She loved to entertain as a clown known to many as "Buttons" and was actively involved with Carolina Clowns of Charlotte, NC for many years in parades and other venues. She enjoyed making people laugh and performing magic tricks.

Patricia was predeceased by her mom and dad, her husband Donald, and her sisters Edith Schmieler and Diane Klar. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Brian Petho and his wife Gudren, and Douglas Petho and his wife Faith, her granddaughters Madelyn Grace and Macey Grace Petho.

Services for Patricia are private and will be held at the convenience of her family.
