His sister Susan Ciccone and husband Jim; sister-in-law Carol Kinney and husband Tom; nieces and nephews: Jackie and Jim Burke; Christine Prince, Kathy and Bryan Arnault, Kristofer and Jamie Ciccone, and Jamie and Charlie Beck; and several great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Eva Salerno.
Mike was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. His family meant everything to him, and he was always there if you needed him. Mike was the guy that never asked for help, but he was always the first to show up and help others even though they didn’t ask. He made a big impression on a lot of people, and he had a way of making everyone feel like part of his family.
Two memorial services are planned to celebrate his life. On December 16th at 11:00 am the celebration will take place at St. Christopher’s Church, 3350 Union St, North Chili, New York 14514. On December 21st the celebration will take place at 11:00 am St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte, North Carolina 28277. Attendees will be invited to join a reception following each service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s hospital.
