Michael Scott McCall Sr

Michael Scott McCall Sr, age 63, of Indian Trail, NC passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 17, 2022 while in the care of Novant Health Medical Center in Matthews surrounded by his loving family.  Scott was born on Saturday, December 5, 1958 in Charlotte, NC to Daniel Hall and Betty Delores (Setzer) McCall. Scott served his country for 4 years in the United States Navy and he and his wife of nearly 22 years Wendi (Switzer) McCall, were married on Saturday, April 22, 2000. Scott worked in the elevator industry as an installer for 40 years most recently with Otis Elevator Company retiring just a year ago.

Scott was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father and grandfather who liked nothing more than spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren especially at the beach. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all his heart and soul. He was known to be the life of the party and enjoyed making people laugh. Scott was a good storyteller and also spent time raising vegetables in his garden.

Scott was predeceased by his father Daniel Hall McCall and a sister Nancy Woodell. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Wendi McCall, his mother Betty Delores McCall, his sons Michael Scott McCall Jr and his wife, Mallory, Connor Woodard and his wife Danielle and Patrick McCall and his wife Brittney, his daughters Brittney Gillis and her husband John Paul and Laine Clontz and her husband Taylor, his brother Daniel McCall and his wife Marie, his sister Lori Melton and her husband Robert and his 4 precious grandchildren Deacon, Callahan, Everly and Briggston

A celebration of Scott's life will be held on Wednesday, January 19th beginning at 11:30 AM and continuing until 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail Children's Theater, 732 Indian Trail-Fairview Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079. Arrangements are by Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations, 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
