Marsha Dunn

Marsha Dunn, age 74 was born June 1, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan. She passed away peacefully at her residence in Waxhaw, North Carolina while surrounded by the ones she cherished dearly. 

Marsha was a very social person and pretty much never met a stranger. She loved meeting people and made it her objective to make them feel like they were the most important and very special person in her life. She was the perfect person to share your secrets with because she was a listener and was never labeled as a talker. She had her favorite hobbies like water skiing, boating and dancing, but also loved to get involved in various other sports as well. She was a wickedly smart person and would always be the one to go to if you wanted to figure things out. But the thing that brought her the most joy was being a Mom for her children. She always had the answer or solution to their life challenges and made it her mission to be involved in everything and anything her children engaged in.

Marsha's family feels passionately about people understanding how important it was for Marsha to be complimentary to people and making sure they felt her admiration and her desire for them to hear it from her lips. She was a firm believer that letting people hear the nice things about themselves served as an encouragement for them to move forward and strive for yet higher goals and becoming a better version of themself. 

Marsha was proceeded in death by her parents Joseph and Rena and Carol Paul, her step-mother to whom she adored. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Kimberly Salzwedel and her husband David and Jacqueline Dunn. Three sisters, Gail Paull Johnson and her wife Carol Lucas, Valerie Macguza and her husband Joseph and Lorrie Paull and her husband Larry Baird. Three grandchildren, Taryn, Grant and Leighton Salzwedel.

The family has decided to hold a celebration of Marsha's life at the River Christian Church on Fleming Island, Florida on Saturday, November 11 at noon. It is requested that no flowers be purchased or brought to the memorial service as the family will be traveling and will have no way of transporting flowers. Instead they have requested people donate to one of Marsha's favorite charities which is listed below. 

 Life and Legacy is in charge of handling all the needs of the Dunn Family during this most difficult time.
