Obituary
Mariya Vasiliyevna Grinzhevskaya, age 84, of Charlotte passed into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her residence. Mariya was born in Moldova on Thursday, September 9, 1937 to Vasiliy and Yevdokiya Oliy.
Mariya was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mariya was predeceased by her parents and her sons Valeriy and Vasiliy Kuvila. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Nikolay Kuvila and his wife Yemiliya as well as her grandchildren. Svetlana, Aleksandr, Victor, Daniil, Vyacheslav, Liliya, Ruslan and Liudmila and her great grandchildren, Angelina, Melina, Samuel, Adelina, Sam, Nastva, Patrick and Matthew.
A funeral service for Mariya will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the First Slavic Baptist Church, 7600 Plott Rd Charlotte, NC 28215 followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205.
Arrangements are by Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations, 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
