Marie Theresa Soler

Marie Theresa Soler, age 53, of Monroe, entered the presence of her Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2023 while in the care of Atrium Health Medical Center Pineville surrounded by the ones she loved dearly. Marie was born on Saturday, September 13, 1969 to Francisco and Arminda (Soto) Larraneta. She was married to her childhood sweetheart Ricardo Soler on Sunday, August 19, 1990.

Marie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt who loved her family and was extremely loyal. She enjoyed cooking  and ocean cruising with her husband. She beat the odds with her illness having lived three years after diagnosis, because of her love of life, when most live 6 months. People described her as Wonder Woman.

Marie was predeceased by her father Francisco Larraneta. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years Ricardo Soler, her mother Arminda Larraneta, her daughter Stephanie Hoffman, her son  Carlos Soler, her sister Izaskun Larraneta and her husband Brian Gudelski, her granddaughter Lilly Hoffman, her nephew Xavier Gudelski and her niece Nora Gudelski.

A celebration of life will be held for Marie on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel beginning with a visitation at 9:30 AM followed by a memorial service at 10:30 AM.
