Luis Freddy Santana

Luis Freddy Santana Nunez, age 54 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 29 at Novant Health Medical Center in Matthews. Luis was born on Wednesday, December 28, 1966 to Felix and Aridia (Nunez) Santana in Santiago, Dominican Republic and was married to Maria Fernandez.

Luis was  a loving son husband and father who was known for his big heart. He would give the shirt of his back to anyone who was in need. He loved to cook, not for himself, but for others. It gave him great joy to see friends and family enjoying the food he had prepared for them. He had a bright smile and loved to laugh. Most of all he was a proud dad, who tried to capture every moment with them and enjoyed sharing with everyone the smallest things to the big achievements. He thought the world of his 3 children.

Luis was predeceased by his father Felix Santana. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Maria Santana Fernandez, his sons Frederick Santana Fernandez and his significant other Kristen Aguilar and Luis Daniel Santana Fernandez, his daughter Shanti Santana Fernandez, his mother Aridia Nunez, his brother Jose Santana and his sisters Marisol Santana, Miledys Santana and Anna Mercedez Santana

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 4th at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel, beginning with a visitation at 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hartis Grove Baptist Cemetery on Golden Pond Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.

Luis Freddy Santana Núñez, de 54 años de Monroe, falleció inesperadamente el Lunes 29 de noviembre en el Novant Health Medical Center en Matthews. Luis nació el miércoles 28 de diciembre de 1966 de Félix y Aridia (Núñez) Santana en Santiago, República Dominicana y estuvo casado con María Fernández.

 Luis era un hijo amoroso esposo y padre que era conocido por su gran corazón. Le daba la camisa de su espalda a cualquiera que lo necesitase. Le encantaba cocinar, no para sí mismo, sino para los demás. Le dio una gran alegría ver a amigos y familiares disfrutando de la comida que había preparado para ellos. Tenía una sonrisa brillante y le encantaba reír. Sobre todo era un padre orgulloso, que trataba de capturar cada momento con ellos y disfrutaba compartiendo con todos las cosas más pequeñas hasta los grandes logros. Pensó en el mundo de sus 3 hijos.

Luis fue premuerto por su padre Félix Santana. Quedan para atesorar su memoria su amada esposa María Santana Fernández, sus hijos Frederick Santana Fernández y su pareja Kristen Aguilar y Luis Daniel Santana Fernandez, sus hija Shanti Santana Fernandez, sus madre Aridia Nunez, sus hermano Jose Santana, sus Hermanas Merisol Santana, Miledys Santana y Anna Mercedez Santana

Una celebración del servicio de vida se llevará a cabo el sábado 4 de diciembre en la Capilla del Buen Pastor de Life and Legacy, comenzando con una visitación a las 12 del mediodía seguida de un servicio funerario a la 1:00 PM. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio Bautista Hartis Grove en Golden Pond Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
