Kim Tytka Obituary

Mrs. Kim Marie Kowalski Tytka, 48, of Clover, SC, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 18, 2020. She was born October 6, 1972 in Cheektowaga, NY to Edward and Carol Lett Kowalski. She was preceded in death by her Parents and her Sister-in-Law Alanna Kowalski.

Over the past 25 years Kim has held a variety of roles in the cable industry, most recently Sr. Manager Learning & Development for Spectrum in Charlotte, NC. Kim began her career in 1995 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Buffalo in addition to an Associate Degree in Project Management from McMaster University in Toronto, Ontario. Kim also had certifications in Public Relations/Advertising, Journalism, and Telecommunications Management.  Kim took pride in her work and continued to work full time throughout her brief illness and treatments.

In her spare time Kim loved to shop, travel, take long walks with Ray, and spend time with family. Kim was beautiful both inside and out. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and all that knew her. The family will be honoring Kim’s wishes and have a funeral mass and reception in Buffalo, NY when the restrictions are lifted in New York State.

Left to cherish her memory: her beloved husband Raymond W. Tytka; siblings Edward Kowalski, Jr and wife Patricia, Karen Ryan and husband Gary, Richard Kowalski and wife Karen, Timothy Kowalski, Kathy Sevcik and husband Gene, Carol Ann Chester and husband Mark, Todd Kowalski, Glenn Kowalski and wife Christina and Kari Morris and husband James; twenty-three nieces and nephews; one great nephew and one great niece.
