Kathryn Jayne Richter

Miss Kathryn “Katy” Jayne Richter, 38, of Charlotte, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Kathy was born May 17, 1981 to William E and Lynette Grodecki Richter, Jr in Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Richter, Jr.

Katy was a fun-loving young woman who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed driving around, hanging with her friends, jewelry, makeup and Reality TV. She really loved children and being an aunt to her nephews and is described as a cool older sister. 
 

Left to cherish her memory: her mother Lynette Richter; brother Michael Richter; nephews Logan and Elijah Richter and her beloved dog, Tito.

A memorial service will be 2:00pm Saturday, March 14, 2020 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail; with Dr. Chris Baucom officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00pm-1:50pm prior to the service.
