Mrs. Katherine Sophie Bak Ambrosio, 89, of Indian Trail, passed away June 11, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born June 19, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to Basil and Mary Makouski Bak. She attended Team Church and loved her Pastor Kenny Hubbard and church family.

Mrs. Ambrosio left us with these gentle words: "When I'm gone, No Tears, remember all the days when we smiled and laughed; we had lots of them. My greatest joy was being with Kris and Jen when they were young; now I see two beautiful grown up mothers."

Left to cherish her memory: son Steven Ambrosio and wife Susan of Indian Trail; granddaughters Kristen Gillander and husband Robert III of Jacksonville, FL; and Jennifer Ambrosio of Charlotte; great granddaughters Sophie Jo Gillander, Reagan Carlisle Gillander and Olivia Mae Gillander.

Mrs. Ambroiso will be buried next to her husband Tony in a private service.
