Joshua David "Boo" Griffin, Jr

Mr. Joshua David "Boo" Griffin, Jr., 22, of Mint Hill, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at his residence. Boo was born May 18, 1997 to Joshua David Griffin, Sr and Pamela “Dee” Brewer Piana in Matthews. 

Boo loved to entertain people, commonly labeled a "Practical Jokester", he loved to make people laugh and had a contagious laugh of his own. He was known to always have your back when you were a part of his family or his group of friends. He loved to go exploring, fishing and to play video games. He loved his grandmas cooking, animals and dressing "Fresh". 

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Joshua Griffin and Dee Piana; his step father Adam Piana; sister Sarah Griffin; step sister Taylor Allen; Granparents, William "Bill" and Rebecca Griffin, and Lisa Wilbanks; step grandmother Cathy Robertson; uncles Phillip Griffin (Karen), William Griffin, Jr. (Melanie) and Robert Brewer (Chelsea); aunts Joy Griffin (Ethan) and Renee Atkinson (Steve); and a hosts of cousins, nieces and nephews. 

A Service of Remembrance will be 11:00AM Friday, June 28 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Indian Trail with Dr. Mike Whitson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartis Grove Church Cemetery on Golden Pond Rd. The family will gather to receive friends 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, June 27 in the Good Shepherd Capel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail.
