Mr. Jordan Lee Clark, 21, of Monroe passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 in his residence. He was born December 1, 1998 to James Lee Clark and Kristy Lynn Stroupe in Bluefield, WV. Jordan attended First Assembly Christian School in Monroe.
Jordan was a quiet and loving young man. He enjoyed the music of rapper XXXTentacion and his favorite person in history was Frederick Douglas, He loved the University of North Carolina TarHeels and the Pittsburgh Steelers football.
Left to cherish his memory: his mother Kristy Stroupe Clark (Darrell Ratley); father James Clark; brother Dakota Stoupe; maternal grandparents Roger and Betty Stroupe; paternal grandparents Bobby and Brenda Clark; close cousin Adriana Helms; close friend Lily Roberts; aunts and uncles Roger, Jr. and Rhonda Stroupe, Billy Stroupe, Michael and Juanita Stroupe, Donald Stroupe, Woody and Jacquelyn Meadows and Bobby, Jr and Kathleen Clark; several cousins and many friends.
Funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 23rd in the sanctuary of Benton’s Crossroads Baptist Church; 109 East Lawyers Rd., Monroe, NC; with Pastors Chris Baucom, Charles Hastings, and Cody Huneycutt officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00 noon until 1:45 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Hartis Cemetery.
