Jonathan Troy Swierski

Jonathan Troy "Jon" Swierski, 20, of Waxhaw passed away Saturday, July 6th in Matthews. Jon was born October 1, 1998 to Scott Thomas and Dawn Marie Lesko Swierski in Baylor, Texas. Jon was a smart young man, he was loyal, caring and protective of his family and friends, he loved his cats Allie and Thor and his dogs Baxter and Bandit; he loved to fish, hunt, play video games and listen to country music. Jon was patriotic and loved Donald Trump and the military. Jon played on the football team and was a member of the ROTC at Weddington High School. He loved his girlfriend, Lacey Horne, of whom he was about to celebrate 2 years together July 20th. 

Preceding him in death are his grandfathers Thomas J. Swierski and Michael D. Lesko.

To cherish his memory are his parents, Scott and Dawn Swierski; his sister Riley Swierski; grandmothers Virginia Chambers (Larry) and Susan Lesko; uncles Robert Swierski (May), Scott Lesko (Mary), Todd Lesko (Erin); aunt Kim Lesko and numbers cousins.

The family will receive friends 1:00pm- 1:50pm Saturday, July 13, in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail. A Service of Remembrance will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm.
