Jeffery Lane Kiker

Mr. Jeffery Lane Kiker, 61, of Waxhaw, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 while on vacation in Sevierville, Tennessee. On Wednesday, November 19, 1958, Jeff was born to Reid Thomas and Peggy Irene Threadgill Kiker in Monroe. He graduated class of 1977 from Sun Valley High School in Indian Trail. Saturday, November 22, 2003, he married the former Melissa Elizabeth Bloyer who enjoyed many wonderful years together. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Leslie Horn Kiker and a sister Peggy Marie Helms. 

Jeff was a true family man,  he enjoyed spending time with his wife "Emmy" and his children and grandchildren. He was a Godly man that would always put others before himself. His joy was riding his new Harley Davidson motorcycle and going camping in the mountains. Jeff enjoyed working on cars as well.

Left to cherish his memory: his wife of 16 years, Melissa Kiker; sons Forrest Kiker and wife Rebecca Rollins and Dylan Bartlett and fiancé Vanessa Sala; daughters Lynn Kiker, Alycia Cruz, Katie Bartlett and fiancé Anthony Blackburn and Kensley Fisher; brother Gene Kiker and wife Janet; 11 grandchildren and 1 on the way; 1 great grand; 2 nephews and 1 niece.

Graveside Service will be 1:30 pm Friday, May 8, 2020 in the Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery; 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe. The family will receive friends 12:00-1:00 pm Friday in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail.
