Javier Gil-Mendoza

Javier Gil-Mendoza, 39, of Monroe, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 in the Atrium Heath Medical Center of Union County. He was born December 10, 1980 in Mexico to Inocencio Gil and Elidia Mendoza.

He is survived by his wife Maricella Velazquez; daughters Eugenia Gil Mendoza, Carmelo Gil Mendoza, Elida Gil Mendoza, Antonio Gil Mendoza; and siblings Karina Roman Gil, Isabella Roman Gil, Valentina Roman Gill and Victoria Roman Gil.

Javier was a loving father, husband and brother. He enjoyed playing and watching soccer; he was a true fan of the Barcelona Soccer Team

Funeral will be 11:00am Friday, October 30 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd., Indian Trail. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
