Janet G Lewis

Janet G Lewis, 59, quietly passed into the arms of her Lord on April 8, 2021 at Atrium Health Medical Center Monroe while surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born August 9, 1961 in Wichita, KS to Warren "Hank" and Norma (Vanlaninghan) Cox. Janet and her loving husband Noel D Lewis recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary and recently relocated to Indian Trail from Wichita to be closer to family. Janet had a career as a middle school math teacher in the Wichita Public School System.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter who loved quilting and reading. She was known as a serious person but had a dry sense of humor. Janet was predeceased by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Noel D Lewis of Indian Trail, a son David N Lewis of Honolulu, HI, a daughter Stephanie Lewis Hart and her husband Chris of Stallings, a daughter Alyssa M Anderson and  her husband Josh of Altoona IA, a daughter Adriane N Lewis of Ankeny, IA, a brother James Cox and his wife Kathy of Rose Hill KS, a sister Shirley R Gladstone and her husband BZ of Pheonix, AZ, three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations, 6525 Old Monroe Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079
