Jackson "Jack" Eli Pressley

Jackson Eli Pressley, age 89 of Monroe, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Savior on December 25, 2021 while under the care of Atrium Health Union and surrounded by his many loved ones. Jackson "Jack" was married to his loving wife Anne for 61 years. They were together for a period of 73 years in total if you include the fact that they started dating when he was 15 and she was 14 and she asked him to be her date for the schools Valentines Day party. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Joel Wriston Pressley and Kate Thomas Pressley. Brothers, Chester Pressley (Mary), Shuford Pressley (Jolly), Ralph Pressley (Elsie), and sister, Dorothy Pressley Stanley (Wilson). 

He is survived by his wife, Anne Smith Pressley, daughter, Gina Pressley Painter and her husband John, son Joe Pressley. Grandchildren, Alex Painter, Sarah Painter, Jake Painter, Will Painter, Briana Pressley, Addison Pressley and Wriston Pressley,
