Galyna Koptylo

Galyna (Shinkaruk) Koptylo, age 88, of Charlotte, passed into the arms of her Savior, on Tuesday, while in the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Charlotte Region, at her home surrounded by her family. Galyna was born in Ukraine on November 12, 1933 to Mihailo and Oksana Shinkaruk.

Galyna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.

Galyna was predeceased by her parents and her husband. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ann Glavmik, Tetyana Draga and her husband Petr, Oksana Averkova and her husband Viktor,her son Miroslav Koptylo and his wife Darina, her sister Tetyana Shevchuk and her husband Vanya, Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Galyna will be held on Thursday February 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Avenue, Charlotte,28205. Arrangements are by Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations, 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079
