Eugene Patrick Cummings

Eugene Patrick Cummings 92 of Charlotte, NC, who originally hailed from Yonkers, NY peacefully passed into the arms of his Savior on September 23, 2021 at the Hospice House of Union County while surrounded by his loving family. 

Eugene was a very kind man. He loved his Country very much and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He loved gardening, reading and watching television. He absolutely loved having a "big breakfast" every morning. He literally lived for his faith, country and family. 

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Lois (Curry). His brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Charles, Edward and Robert. Left to cherish his memory are his family which included his four daughters, JoAnn Cummings, Louise Cummings and partner Sandra Lopez, Jane Longley and husband Timothy, Teresa Cummings Luisa and her husband Christopher. HIs sister Delores Mulligan and his brother Donald Cummings and his wife Janet. He adored his 9 grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Craig, Jeffrey, Troy, Christopher, Tiffany, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Ryann and Everett. He had many nieces and nephews and his devoted friend through thick and thin was his dog Chico. 

Life and Legacy is humbled to have been called upon to serve the needs of the Cummings Family. Arrangements for Eugene are private and the family would like to express their appreciation for everyones love, prayers and thoughts during this most difficult time.
