Enrique Alvarenga

Enrique Alvarenga, age 54, of Charlotte, NC, passed away suddenly at Novant Presbyterian Hospital on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Enrique was born on Wednesday, March 6, 1968 in El Salvador to Lorenzo and Maria (Perla) Alvarenga. He was married to Ada Isabel (Diaz) Alvarenga.

Enrique was a hardworking and loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, being outdoors, fishing, soccer and keeping busy with home projects.

Enrique was predeceased by his parents and a brother Jose Romero Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Ada Alvarenga, his children Jessica Diaz and her husband Jaime, Enrique Alvarenga and his wife Ana, Johnny Alvarenga, and Susan Alvarenga. His siblings, Maria Alvarenga and her husband Julio Martinez, Matilde Alvarenga and her husband Rolejio Omann, Ricardo Alvarenga and his wife Maria, Esteban Romero and his wife Marta, Jesus Alvarenga and his wife Mary, Alfonso Alvarenga and his wife Maria, Elena Alvarenga, Mario Alvarenga and his wife Reyna, Milagro Alvarenga and her husband Elvidio Garay, his grandchildren Benjamin and Mia, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Enrique's life will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel beginning with a visitation at 11:00 AM followed by a service at 12:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Charlotte, Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215.
