Elnathan (Bull) Abinadab Davis aka Al, age 83 of Lockport, NY transitioned to eternal life on May 28, 2022 at hospice care in Concord, NC. Elnathan was born in Kingston, Jamaica on October 12, 1938, to the late Ellis Davis Sr. and Edith Scott. Bull attended Llandewey, St. Thomas, Jamaica school district. In 1957 Bull moved to Lockport, NY where he lived until April 17th when he relocated to Concord, NC.
On September 30, 1978, Bull married the late Edna (Gibson) Davis. Elnathan was employed by General Motors until his retirement in 2005. However, he was best known as the owner of the Seven Star Night Club formerly known as Casa Montego (J Club). Bull will also be remembered for his love for his family and the community. Bull started a cricket club to honor his late brother, Percy. He also fed the community yearly on Labor Day Sunday. Bull enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing dominoes, and working in nature. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed caring for animals.
Bull is survived by his children Michael Davis (Theresa Davis), Julia Loney (Nigel Loney), Cassandra Leverette (Donald Leverette), Dominique Davis, Vera Gibson-Carroll, Janey Pepper, and Tyrone Moore. Bull is also survived by his siblings Ronald Davis (Sydney), George Davis, Ellis Davis Jr. (Fanso), Clifton Davis (Bunny), Pattliah Davis (Dell), Pernella Davis-Vassell (Perley), Henrietta Davis-Wray (Hortense), and Janet Davis (Juliet).
He is also survived by his grandchildren Alashea, Javale Davis, Clarice Goldsmith, Donna Nix, Sterling Carroll, Howard Hamilton, Kevin Hamilton, Michael Hamilton, Brianna Moore, Domingo Moore, Samantha Loney, Kerryann Loney, Fiona Loney, David Loney, Chanti Leverette, James Leverette, and a host of great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, especially Kenny Pittler and long-time friend Hannah Morgan
Bull was preceded by his wife Edna Davis, father Ellis Davis Senior, mother Edith Scott, and siblings Ivy Davis Palmer, Eutezra Davis (Joyce), Duncan Davis (Percy), and Veronica Davis (Tatty).
A celebration of life will be held on June 11, 2022, at 37 Heath Street on the lawn at Seven Star Night Club (tents provided). Viewing will be held at 10 AM with services following at 11 am. Services have been entrusted to Memories Funeral Home, 1005 Hudson Ave Rochester NY. Floral tributes may be ordered through Gould Florists. Elnathan will be interred beside his wife at Acacia Cemetery in North Tonawanda, NY.
