Edward Albert Ledwig Jr

Edward Albert Ledwig Jr, age 73, of Indian Trail, NC, passed away peacefully while in the care of Novant Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Charlotte. Eddie was born on Wednesday, July 21, 1948 in Corpus Christie, TX to Edward A Sr and M Theresa (O'Brien) Ledwig. Eddie served his country in the US Army in Vietnam and worked for the federal government as a Aircraft Motor Mechanic for 42 years. He was also a volunteer with the Corpus Christie Sheriff's Department for many years.

Eddie was a loving son and brother who loved to travel, work on cars and visiting car, plane and train museums.

Eddie was predeceased by his parents his brothers Tommy and Paul Ledwig. Left to cherish his memory are his sister Sue LaRocque and her husband David, his brother Jimmy Ledwig and his wife Maryann, his sisters Delores Davis and her husband Roger and Dorothy Miller as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Eddie will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144 on Tuesday, May 3 2022 at 1:00 PM.
