Dorothy (Morris) Davis

Dorothy Davis, 78 of Matthews, NC, quietly passed into the arms of her Savior on August 9, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was a mother to all she came in contact with. With a gentle nature and a loving heart she never turned away a child or family member in need. She retired from Charlotte Plastics and devoted the rest of her life to raising her children and grandchildren. 

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Horace, Father, Ben Morris and Mother, Maci Helms and eight siblings. Left to cherish her memory is her five children, Jessica Funderburk and her Husband JT, Michelle Clement, Bucky Funderburk and his Wife Sara, Calvin Morris, Clinton Morris and his Wife Diana and Connie Davis. She was blessed with 17 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren who were the loves of her life.
