Donna Diane (Dymond) Cannon

Mrs. Donna Diane Dymond Cannon, 76, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in the Addison Senior Living Center of Monroe. She was born November 26, 1944 in Peckville, Pennsylvania to Robert Dymond, Sr and Grace King Dymond. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Dymond, Jr.

Mrs. Cannon was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She was a true fighter against all disease that was thrown her way. She graduated from St Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in 1965 and was a practicing nurse for many years and then went back to school at Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor's of Fine Arts degree with a concentration of photography and graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1999 at age 50. She was an animal lover especially to her dogs Sparky and after his passing she took on the care of Romeo and Juliet.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Locklear and husband Don; granddaughter Hannah Locklear, grandson Colby Locklear; sister Barbara Pearson and husband Kenneth; brother Thomas Dymond and wife Brenda; sister-in-law Mary Dymond; nieces and nephews Kurt Pearson, Sue Pearson, Elizabeth Dymond and Steven Dymond.

The family will celebrate her life daily and she will be interred near her parents during a private memorial service.
