Denise Michele (Augeri) Williams

Denise Williams, age 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a brief illness on December 30, 2021. Denise was born in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, March 15, 1970 to Salvatore and Carolyn (Viola) Augeri. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College with a B.A. in Liberal Arts. After attending college she spent many proud years as an EMT. She lived in Connecticut for many years before making a home for her family in Stallings, North Carolina.

Denise was loved by all who met her because her smile was infectious and her hugs were passionate. She loved her two girls Corinne (18) and Elanna (17) unconditionally and her spirit will live on in their hearts forever. Her favorite moments were spent laughing with family and friends and celebrating Corinne and Elanna’s accomplishments alongside her husband of 19 years, Robert T. Williams. Rob and Denise were together for over 30 years.  Denise worked in property and casualty insurance but her favorite job was being a mother, a youth sports fan and a loyal friend.

Denise is predeceased by her father Salvatore Augeri and her father-in-law Robert C Williams.

 Left to cherish Denise's memory are  her husband Robert T Williams, her daughters Corinne and Elanna Williams, her mother Carolyn Augeri, her mother-in-law Ann Williams, her sister Christine Sarlo, her brother Sal Augeri and his wife Melissa and her sister-in-law Vernita Williams. Denise was also loved by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, many cousins and friends who were like family. She will also be missed by her favorite furry friends Rex and George.

A celebration of Denise's life will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel beginning with a visitation at 2:00 PM followed by a service at 3:00 PM.
