Debra Joyce (Deese) DiNorscia

Ms. Debra Joyce (Deese) DiNorscia, 64, of Monroe, NC, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 in the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center - Harris House Hospice Unit of Charlotte, NC. Debra was born December 24,1955 in Charlotte, NC to the late Horace Roland Deese and the late Emma Braswell Deese. She is survived by her son, David Anthony DiNorscia and daughter-in-law Lindsay, of Matthews, NC; her fiance, Gerry Logan of Charlotte, NC; and her three sisters, Nancy Campbell of Indian Trail, NC; Cathy Harkey and husband Joe, of Gilbert, AZ; and Carol Schaefer and husband Todd, of Gilbert, AZ, plus three nephews Kevin Campbell and wife Cortney and 4 daughters, of Alpharetta, GA; Brad Harkey and wife Elise and two sons, of Evans, GA; and Scott Harkey and wife Allison, of Gilbert, AZ.

Debra was customer service representative of Circor Corporation, Monroe, NC. She helped in several Women's Shelters around the area. Debra loved animals, especially dogs. As a dog owner, since she was a small child, she found lots of joy playing with her dogs. Debra also loved to cook! She enjoyed sharing in her son, David’s, sporting events. Debra loved watching him play football! She loved dancing and music, even teaching herself to play the guitar while listening to 45 records and she played the piano.

Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Road, Indian Trail, NC. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. - 1:50 p.m. prior to the service. Committal service will follow in the Griffin Cemetery; Highway 218 North, Polkton, NC.
