Damaris (Catinchi) Rivera

Damaris (Catinchi) Rivera, age 58, of Charlotte, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday February 12, 2022 while in the care of Atrium Health Medical Center in Concord, NC, surrounded by her loving family. Damaris was born on Saturday, October 5, 1963 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Pedro Antonio and Eulogia (Gutierez) Catinchi. She was married to the late Francisco Rivera.

Damaris was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was devoted to her Lord, Jeasus Christ and enjoyed assembling picture puzzles. Her lifelong motto was "Live Without Regrets".

Damaris was predeceased by her mother and father, as well as her husband Francisco and her brother Fernando Antonio Catinchi. Left to cherish her memory are her son Ruben A Rivera, her daughter Jessica L Rivera, her sisters Josefa Liranzo and her husband Bonito, Maria Christina Catinchi and Noemi Perkins and her husband Gerald, her grandchildren Sophia Olivia Rivera, Alexander Wade Harrison Jr and Leonidas Evander Harrison, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 22nd at 11:00 AM at York Memorial Park, 5150 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28213. Arrangements are by Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations, 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
