Betty Noonan

Mrs. Betty Noonan, 84, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 in the Little Flower Assisted Living Facility. Mrs. Noonan was born December 1, 1934 in Burlington, VT to Walter and Lena Dumas Chesley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Noonan.

Mrs. Noonan was a parishioner of St. Matthew Catholic Church of Charlotte. She served the community as past board member of Stallings Parks and Recreation, was a volunteer for Matthews Help Center and Novant Health Matthews Medical Center.

Left to cherish her memory are her son John and wife Wendy Noonan; granddaughters Mackenzie Noonan and Kelsey Munekata (Andrew); brother John Chesley (Zola) and niece Karen Chesley. 

Betty was a Registered Nurse that loved traveling, the outdoors and music. She had a very strong faith in God's plan. Betty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. 

Memorial Service will be 11:00Am, Saturday, September 28 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail. The family will receive friends 10:00-10:45 prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Little Flower Assisted Living.
