Obituary
Betty Jean Bond, age 55, of Charlotte left us way too soon on April 23, 2023. She passed away peacefully at her home while surrounded by the ones she loved the most. Betty was born on August 21, 1967 to James and Bobbie (McQuage) McClain.
Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Jean McClain and her sister Julia Ann Ford. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Bond. four daughters, Sarah Fernandez, Jessica Steele, Jamie Bond, and Abigail Bond. three brothers, Donald Faile, Lynn McQuage, and Thomas McQuage, Seven beautiful grandchildren and her mother in Law.
Betty was always known to be a free spirit and loved everyone she came in contact with. She never met a stranger and would stop to talk to everyone who would talk back. She absolutely adored her family and loved having them around her at all times The one thing about Betty that everyone could agree upon is that she could never sit still and always had to be working.
A memorial service for Betty will be held on Monday May 1, 2023 at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel at 11:00 AM.
