Barbara Daniel Obituary

Ms. Barbara Ann Abercrombie Daniel, 75, of Monroe passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 in the Accordius Health of Monroe. She was born August 20, 1945 to William Abercrombie, Sr and Mardella Lee Abercrombie in Chicago, Illinois.

Barbara was a social butterfly, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed meeting new people and especially loved her activities at Accordius of Monroe. While others in her family were sick she was there to help them get well. Her home was the gathering place for family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory: her children Jimmy Daniel, Jeff Daniel and Greg Daniel; siblings Mary Edwards, Pat Lanier, William Abercrombie, Jr and wife Jenny and Terri Abercrombie; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mardella Abercrombie; husband James Daniel; son Todd Daniel; sisters Sara Whitley and Geraldine Abercrombie.

The family will honor the wishes of Mrs. Daniel and celebrate her life privately.
