In the early morning hours of October 14, 2023, Ann Shellman passed away at the age of 80. She was cared for and held in the arms of Andrew, her loving husband of 59 years as she went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ann was born in Washington DC John and Una Wadsworth on January 8, 1943. She lived in many areas of the United States, although Cincinnati, OH was home for many years where she was a long-time and devoted employee of the Procter and Gamble company. Besides being one of the most organized people you would ever meet, Ann was incredibly generous. For many years, Ann steadfastly served our troops overseas by sending care packages. Her heart's desire was for them to know they were cared for and not forgotten. We've all heard the phrase that, "someone would give you the shirt off their back" and Ann embodied this without fail. Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by family, especiallv when able to share those times near a beach where shelling was a passion. Her children and grandchildren were her biggest sources of pride and joy as she was blessed to see them each grow into loving and successful parents and young adults. She also had a soft spot for all her furry friends, cats and dogs alike.
Ann is survived by her husband Andrew, her daughter Sondra and grandchildren Garrett and Sydney, her daughter Andrea (Jerry) Schmitt and grandchildren Ryan and William, and her sister Betsy Thomas.
A private family ceremony celebrating Ann's life is being held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the following charities in her memory: Folds of Honor or the Wounded Warrior Project.
