Alice (Powell) Powell-Singh

Alice Powell-Singh, age 81 was born on August 28, 1942 to Ralph and Evelyn Powell in Marion County, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, while under the care of Novant Health Hospice surrounded by the people she loved dearly.

Alice is preceded in death by parents Ralph Powell and Evelyn Wiebe Powell, her brothers John Powell and Art Powell. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Evelyn Hipp and husband George Hipp and her son, Kyle Wiens. Two sisters Bertha Terry and Virginia Smith. Grandchildren, Morgan Hipp, Sav Hipp, Paige Hipp, Jason Hamilton, Kris Hamilton, Kyle Wiens Jr, and Lisa Wiens.  

A celebration of Alice's life will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel followed by interment at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 2301 North Rocky River Rd, Monroe, NC 28110..
