Alfred Johnson

Alfred Johnson, age 94, of Matthews, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 while in the care of Novant Medical Center Matthews, surrounded by the people he loved the most. Alfred was born in Connecticut on Monday, July 22, 1929 to Ernest and Julia (Benson) Johnson. He was married to Oranuch Cimhuoy.

Alfred was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family, gardening and attending church. He was known to be a very private person.

Alfred was predeceased by his mother and father as well as his brother Ernest Johnson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Oranuch Johnson, his sons Kenneth Johnson and his wife Deborah and Clifford Johnson and his wife Rodelle, his daughter Laurie Sucharski and six grandchildren.

A celebration of Alfred's life will be held at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
