Obituary
Albina Mora, age 98, of Monroe, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 while in the care of Brookdale Assisted Living, surrounded by her loving family. Albina was born on Saturday, March 1, 1924 in Ecuador to Eloy and Dalinda (Sanchez) Mora. She was married to the late Alcide Flores who passed away in 1965 in Ecuador.
Albina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, reading knitting, sewing and cooking.
Albina was predeceased by her parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and her husband. Left to cherish her memory are her son Glenn Flores and his wife Maria, her son Johnny Flores and his partner Patricia Valencia, her daughter Elizabeth Flores and her husband William Vera, her daughter Jacqueline Flores, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A vigil service will be held for Albina on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Life and Legacy's Good Shepherd Chapel at 2:00 PM.
