Zeli Da Silva Obituary

Mrs. Zeli Silva, 78, of Indian Trail, passed away Sunday, June 23 in the CMC Union Hospital. Ms. Da Silva was born July 13, 1940 to Cecilio Venancio and Benta Da Silva in Santa Catarina, Brazil. She was preceded in death by her parents and several of her siblings.

Ms. Da Silva loved to cook, read and she enjoyed gardening. Closest to her are her grandsonsTristan and Logan. She was a devout Catholic and attended Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Charlotte.

Those here to cherish her memory are her daughter Gabriela Kanode and husband Robert; grandsons Tristan Kanode and Logan Kanode; and her sisters Lurdes Dal Molin and Nair Da Silva.

The family will gather to have a private family memorial service and will later bury her ashes in Brazil.
