Thomas Richard Keziah, 79, of Monroe passed away July 14, 2019 in the Clear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 21, 1939 to Thomas C and Ruth Campbell Keziah in Kershaw, SC. He later married Judy McMehan who passed away January 7, 2013. In addition, he is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jimmy Keziah and Wesley Keziah; and sisters Katie Rivera and Ruby Keziah.
Mr. Keziah was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Monroe; a NASCAR mechanic, he was 1 of 5 civilian men trained to work on the M24 Chaffee Army tank, he worked as an Alignment Mechanic and Restoration Tech for Town and Country Ford and drove the first Auto Medic truck in Charlotte; he was the founder of Keziah Towing and Recovery Service with his son Bryan.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Tina Foster (Robert Lee), Bryan Keziah and Richard Keziah (Melissa); 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way.
Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, July 18 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd., Indian Trail. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:50pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
