Sonny Fowler

Mr. Sonny Fowler, 51, of Matthews passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. Sonny was born November 27, 1967 to Freddie Jacobs Fowler and Joann Harrelson Fowler in Charlotte. 

His family describes him as a hard worker that always put others before himself. He was always smiling and loved to pick and cut up with friends and family. His prize was his sweet daughter, Jenna. They would play Xbox together and spend lots of time with each other; she says he was the "Best Dad" any girl could ask for. He loved to tinker on his Jeep.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Jenna Fowler of the home; mother Joann Fowler of the home; father Freddie Fowler; brother Jay Fowler (Connie); sister Shannon Ferone; nephews Dylan Clancy and Jaycob Ferone; nieces Brandy Caudillo, Christy Bradley and Heather Haupt; uncles Joe Harrelson, Frank Harrelson and Van Fowler; and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Service will be 6:00pm Friday, September 27 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and legacy Funerals and Cremations; 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail with Pastor Terry Simpson officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-5:50pm prior to the service.
