Richard Robert Meier

Richard Robert Meier, 70, of Indian Trail passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 19, 1948 to Robert and Irene Schlayer Meier in Akron, Ohio. He worked as an Executive Banker until his retirement. He married Mary Corbusier in 1974. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Left to cherish his family are his wife, Mary of the home; daughter Julie Matthews and husband Jon; son Jeff Meier; granddaughters Mia Matthews and Marissa Matthews; grandsons Chance Meier and Blake Meier; sister Diane Blake and husband Bill; Best Friend Jerry Stevenson and his 2 Schnauzers Moxin and Tweeter. 

The family will receive friends 3:00pm-5:00pm Saturday, February 16 in the Good Shepherd Chapel of Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations, 6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail. A Memorial Service will be 1:00pm Sunday, February 17 in the Sanctuary of River Hills Community Church, 104 Hamilton Ferry Rd., Lake Wylie, SC.
