Mitchell Dean Crump

Mr. Mitchell Dean Crump, 60, of Monroe, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 in Atrium Health of Union County. Mitchell was born in Charlotte to Louie B and Rachel Hartis Crump March 2, 1959. He loved all of his family, but closest to his heart was his Mama. When able, his mother would pick him up and take him to get a hamburger and just ride around, Mick loved car rides. He loved his sweets; cakes, pies and ice cream would win him over quickly. He mastered the art of "Pop Beads", he would have strings of them put together all over the place. As you see from his photo, he loved a big book to be with him at all times, mostly the phone book. Mick never got to see the scenery in the car rides, the pop beads he put together, the phonebook nor his beloved mother, but the first thing he saw was the beautiful sights of Heaven and Jesus whom he loved dearly.  

Mr. Crump was preceded in death by his Father, L.B. Crump, and his Brothers, Stanley Crump and the Reverend Ken Crump. His family to cherish his memory are his beloved mother, Rachel Crump; brother Donnie B. Crump (Janice) and several Uncles, Aunts, Nephews and Nieces. 

Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, June 6, 2019 in the sanctuary of Faith Baptist Church, 4220 Faith Church Rd, Indian Trail with Rev. Donnie Crump, Jr. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00pm - 1:45pm Thursday prior to the service.
